Nina zou
social strategy, google wing
Location: Santa Cruz, United States
About: “What’s more amazing than the technology is what people do with it”. Passionate about technology innovation and multimedia storytelling, Nina’s venture into drone photography began with a reporting trip to Bolivia during her time at UC Berkeley. Since then, she embarked on a journey telling more people about the potential of drone technology.
As the Social Media Manager for Wing, Alphabet’s autonomous drone delivery project, she utilizes her knowledge of social graphics, short-form video, animated GIFs and digital illustrations to bring Wing’s brand to life on social media. She enjoys taking on the challenge of helping early stage technologies enter the world.
Prior to Wing, she was part of the digital marketing team in DJI for 3 years, creating original social media campaigns and assisting product launches – including Phantom 4, Spark and Mavic Air. Her favorite campaign was the monthly UGC “Captured By You” challenge – where people from all over the world shared their favorite shots around a chosen theme.
Nina looks for thoughtful photography with a heart which portrays a deeper meaning behind carefully constructed shots.

JP & Mike
abstract aerial Art team
Location: Wolverhampton, England
About: Meet the masters of abstract, textures, and patterned drone shots. Better known as Abstract Aerial Art, we are two brothers and best mates from the UK, JP and Mike Andrews. Captured using our unique style of drone photography, we specialise in photographing bizarre, aerial images of planet Earth. With a passion for travel and adventure, our work focuses on the overlooked pieces of the planet. Other than slight colour and contrast enhancements, none of our images are manipulated in any other way. Composed as artworks and taken from a top-down perspective, we aim to show you a world not many have the opportunity to witness. The ethos behind every picture is simply “the point is not to work out what it is, but to show how weird and wonderful the world can look from above”

daniel kouba
creator & @wildernesstones founder
Location: New York, United States
About: “I believe that images can change lives, and that’s why I fell in love with photography.” Daniel Kouba started his journey getting lost in the works of Ansel Adams; the detail and realism in Adam’s images makes his work stand out – even to this day. Studying his career taught Daniel a lot about photography and is ultimately what inspired his to pursue the art form professionally.
This experience is what has guided Daniel’s personal taste in images and is what inevitably put him on the path towards landscape and adventure photography. In addition to sharing his own work, he has created an international landscape and adventure photography community called Wilderness Tones (@wildernesstones) with the goal of inspiring others and sharing the beauty that he has found to be so transformational in his own life.
Daniel looks for clean, minimal images that demonstrate a clear understanding of photographic principles like composition, light, color, and creativity. He always loves something new and different. “The invention of drones has been revolutionary in photography, but we’re at a point now where it is very saturated. Drones brought new perspectives to the table, and what I’m looking for is new perspective in drone photography. If there’s something I’ve never seen before, I’m interested.”
